Dear Mary!

Thank you for your letter. I really miss you.

What can I tell you about my holiday?

I spent this summer in the country. I lived in a beautiful cottage near a river. All people were very friendly.

I was happy. The weather was fine. My friends and I spent a lot of time outdoors swimming, diving and gethering mushrooms in the nearest forest.

In the evening we usually made a fire, played the guitar and sang songs. I took a lot of pictures of my friends.

All food was delicious, especially dairy products.

Dear Andy!

It’s great here. The weather is fantastic and there are things to do every day. The hotel is wonderful.

It has got a swimming pool and a tennis court. It has also got a private beach. I am sitting there now.

My Dad and I go swimming and windsurfing in the morning. Sometimes we go sailing. There is  a rainforest with fantastic plants and tropical birds on the island.

Well, It is getting very hot. It is time for  swimming.

Letter 3

Dear Emily!

How are you?  I hope you are well.

I am writing to tell you about my hodlidays. It is a total disaster!

The plane was ten hours late and we got here at 4 o’clock Sunday morning. The next  day we went to the beach. However it is miles from the hotel and it is overcrowded.  The sea is cold and it is polluted.

There is a chemical factory next to the beach!

The hotel is terrible too. From our room we can see only a car park. The swimming pool is very small and it is full of people. Our room is terrible. It is dirty amd this morning my mum found a  very  big cockroach in the shower.

I am eating a sandwich in my room at the moment because the waiters at the restaurant are rude and unfriendly. The food is terrible. Yesterday there was a fly in my salad. It was  disgusting.

Well, it is time for bed. I would like to have a shower but there is no hot water in the room.

I want to go home!
